Task
A cosmetologist commissioned a complete package of expert-led, talking-head Reels.
What was at the entrance
The client provided her treatment room and cosmetic products for filming.
What did I do
- set up lighting and a wireless lavalier microphone, and filmed a variety of shots
- edited the footage: cleaned audio, graded colour, selected the best takes and adjusted speed without changing the voice
- added inserts, titles and animation
- created covers for the Reels
Process
The main challenge was to vary the framing and camera angles: detailed product close-ups and coverage of the application process. The edit also included stock footage, animation, sound design and Reel covers.
Result
The client received 10 promotional Reels showcasing her services and products to attract new customers.
Role in the project
I handled filming and editing independently. The client supplied the scripts and copy.
