Congratulatory cartoon
The client wanted an animated birthday music video set to a track they provided.
Task
The client wanted an animated birthday music video set to a track they provided.
What was at the entrance
The client supplied photographs of the people to portray, the music track, a brief and creative preferences.
What did I do
- generated images for the video
- created character avatars
- animated the still images
- edited the scenes to the supplied music
- assembled a complete birthday video with rhythm, atmosphere and a story
Process
The project had to fit a three-day deadline and a limited budget. I proposed reusing selected shots and used an AI tool to generate different angles and shot sizes in a single pass. This reduced production time and generation costs. I also created character avatars from the supplied photos and incorporated specific details, including patterned trainers, exact car models and locations based on satellite views.
Result
A finished animated birthday video featuring recognisable versions of real people, with styling and details tailored to the brief.
Role in the project
I generated all the visual material and edited the complete project myself.
